Abstract:
In this method for installing an elevator hoisting machine in which a hoisting machine (9) and a hoisting machine base (10) are installed at an installation position located in an upper portion inside a hoistway (1), a car rail-side guide member (31) that is slidable along a first car guide rail (5) and a weight rail-side guide member (32) that is slidable along a first balance weight guide rail (7) are mounted to the hoisting machine base (10), the hoisting machine base (10) is then hoisted by a crane (21) with the hoisting machine (9) mounted to the hoisting machine base (10), and then, the hoisting machine (9) and the hoisting machine base (10) are lifted to the installation position while the hoisting machine base (10) is guided along the first balance weight guide rail (7) and the first car guide rail (5).
