Abstract:
The present application provides a method for isolating narrowband interference and a communication apparatus. With regard to point-to-multipoint topology characteristics in an Ethernet, a master communication device can send interference parameters or filter coefficients to a plurality of slave communication devices simultaneously by using the interaction capability specific to Ethernet operation, administration and maintenance (OAM) frames; and the plurality of slave communication devices adjust, according to the received information, the coefficients of the corresponding filter at the respective receiving ends, so as to filter out specific interference signals. In this way, there is no need for the plurality of slave communication devices to repeatedly perform interference estimation, thereby saving the storage power and computing power of the slave communication devices.
