Abstract:
Proposed is a method of jointing a flexible tubular component (1) to the, for instance, conically tapering end of a main component (2), the tubular component (1) being inserted into a workpiece holder (3). The main component (2) is gripped by a gripper (4) so that the tubular component (1) and the main component (2) are coaxial to each other. The gripper (4) and workpiece holder (3) are brought close to each other. Compressed air is supplied to the workpiece holder (3) through a feed line (5) to open out the end of the tubular component (1) facing the main component (2). The main component (2) is inserted into the opened-out end of the tubular part (1). The device for carrying out the method has a workpiece holder (3), a mobile gripper (4) designed to hold the main component (2), and a compressed-air feed line (5) coaxial to the tubular component (1) and the main component (2).
