Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for killing freshwater microalgae, comprising a step of making a triiodide resin come into contact with freshwater microalgae, and has an effect of instantly killing, on contact and in real-time, microalgae, such as green algae or blue-green algae, swimming in a river or a stream, a lake, a pond, drinking water, a reservoir, a water purification facility, and the like, by using the instant, contact sterilization ability of a triiodide resin.
