Abstract:
A method for launching a quick application and a related device. The method comprises: an electronic apparatus requesting an application server (200) for an acceleration script of one or more quick applications; upon detecting a first operation for a target quick application, the electronic apparatus requesting, in response to the first operation, the application server (200) for an application package of the target quick application, an acceleration script of the target quick application being comprised in the acceleration script of the one or more quick applications; the electronic apparatus running, in response to the first operation, the acceleration script of the target quick application, obtaining a first URL, and acquiring first data according to the first URL; and the electronic apparatus enabling a home screen of the target quick application to be generated and displayed according to the first data. The method enables pre-acquisition of data required for displaying the home screen of the quick application by means of the acceleration script, thereby improving efficiency of launching a quick application.
