Abstract:
The method comprises a first phase, occurring when the walls (CL) are open, of positioning portions of cable or sheath (CA1, CA2) intended to be hidden, a second phase of closing said walls at the end of which said cable or sheath portions are hidden and a third phase of extracting the ends of the cable or sheath from the walls. According to the invention, "RFID" tags (EID1, EID2) are placed on the ends of the cable or sheath during the first phase, and, during the third phase, the tags present in a space are identified by a portable electronic device (DE) and, for each identified tag, information representative (Pw, D) of the distance between the identified tag and the device is determined and displayed by the device to be used for locating the hidden cable end or hidden sheath end.
