Abstract:
A metal plate is cooled so as to form a water film on the surface of the metal plate by dew condensation. The formed water film is flipped out at a time of prestage to saturation in the process of linear weight increase to thereby attain forced detachment of the formed water film from the metal plate and collection of water. There is provided an apparatus including a metal plate, a cooler for cooling the metal plate and a water film detaching unit for attaining forced flipping of the water film formed on the surface of the metal plate and detachment thereof. Further, there is provided a water collecting metal plate consisting of a metal plate with surface having an effective surface area after working expanded over that before working, adapted to cause atmospheric moisture to make dew condensation on the surface of the metal plate to thereby form a water film and adapted to have the formed water film forcibly flipped so as to attain detachment thereof from the metal plate and collection of water.
