Abstract:
This method for managing the operation of a sintering machine 30 includes: a step for acquiring raw material information including the component composition, blending ratio, and the grain size of each raw material contained in a sintering raw material; a step for acquiring granulation conditions including the water content of the sintering raw material when granulating granulated particles from the sintering raw material; a step for estimating, on the basis of the raw material information and the granulation conditions, granulation results including the grain size of the granulated particles and the component composition for each grain size of the granulated particles; a step for acquiring charging conditions for when the granulated particles are charged into the sintering machine 30 and a raw material charging layer is formed; a step for estimating, on the basis of the granulation results and the charging conditions, the grain size segregation and the component segregation of the granulated particles in the height direction of the raw material charging layer; and a step for estimating, on the basis of the grain size segregation and/or the component segregation, the exhaust gas temperature and/or the sintering temperature in the raw material charging layer.
