Abstract:
Provided is a method with which it is possible to finish a design provided on an outer surface as intended and easily. A method comprising a step for printing, after forming a cylindrical barrel part by applying molding processing including drawing or ironing to a metal plate having a colored-resin-coating with coloring, a design on an outer surface of the barrel part, wherein: design printing is performed at a prescribed location of the outer surface of the barrel part a plurality of times in different colors to obtain mixed color samples of the colors used in the design printing and a base color of the prescribed location; a tone table of groups of hues with the same brightness and chroma at the prescribed location is generated; the colors for the design are determined on the basis of the tone table; and the design is printed.
