Abstract:
In a method for manufacturing a brazing sheet, firstly a clad mass is produced, in which the clad mass comprises a core material mass comprising an aluminum material and a brazing material mass comprising an Al-Si-Mg-based alloy and arranged on at least one surface of a core material. The clad mass is subjected to hot rolling to produce a clad sheet comprising a core material comprising the core material mass and a brazing material comprising the brazing material mass and arranged on at least one surface of the core material. Subsequently, the clad sheet is subjected to one pass or more of cold rolling. In the middle of the cold rolling or after the completion of the cold rolling, the surface of the clad sheet is etched with an etching solution which contains an inorganic acid but does not contain a fluorine atom. In this manner, a brazing sheet for brazing an aluminum material can be manufactured in an inert gas atmosphere without the need to use a flux.
