Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a carbon dioxide emissions-reduced product, by which method a carbon dioxide absorption material can be applied not by being blended with various substrates as a raw material, but by being given to various existing substrates, and carbon dioxide emissions caused when the substrate is burned can be reduced. Provided is a method for manufacturing a carbon dioxide emissions-reduced product for reducing emissions of carbon dioxide emitted from a product for general consumers or industrial purposes when the product for general consumers or industrial purposes is incinerated. The method includes a step for giving a dispersion liquid of a carbon dioxide absorption capsule to a substrate of the product for general consumers or industrial purposes to form a carbon dioxide absorption layer. The carbon dioxide absorption capsule has a structure in which a carbon dioxide absorption material is contained in a lipid bilayer of an amphiphilic lipid. The content of the carbon dioxide absorption capsule is 5 to 12 mass% in terms of solid content with respect to the carbon dioxide absorption layer. The carbon dioxide absorption material includes at least one selected from the group consisting of metal hydroxide, metal oxide, aluminosilicate, a titanate compound, and lithium silicate. The content of the carbon dioxide absorption material is 0.01 to 10 mass% in the carbon dioxide absorption capsule. The carbon dioxide absorption layer has a thickness of 2 to 100 μm. The carbon dioxide absorption layer is formed as an outermost layer. The substrate is a plastic substrate, fabric, leather, or paper. The product for general consumers or industrial purposes is a resin product, a fabric product, a leather product, or a paper product.
