Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a cold-forged product, said method having excellent manufacturing suitability and a reduced environmental burden. This method includes: a surface treatment step in which a surface treatment is performed on a member 5 to be forged; an adhesion step in which, following the surface treatment step, a lubricant 3 is adhered to the surface of the member 5 to be forged; and a forging step in which, following the adhesion step, the member 5 to be forged is cold-forged using a tool 4. The surface treatment step is a surface treatment using wet blasting. A member to be forged containing an iron (Fe) component is used as the member 5 to be forged, and a lubricant 3 containing a lubricating component and an extreme-pressure additive is used as the lubricant 3.
