Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a color filter. The method comprises the step of manufacturing a color resist layer (2) on a substrate (1) and the step of manufacturing an inorganic barrier layer (3) thereon, wherein the step of manufacturing the color resist layer (2) comprises the step of sequentially forming a first color resist (20), a second color resist (30) and a third color resist (40), with the first color resist (20), the second color resist (30) and the third color resist (40) being sequentially and repeatedly arranged in a direction along the surface of the substrate (1); and the step of manufacturing the inorganic barrier layer (3) comprises the step of forming, before the second color resist (30) is formed and after the first color resist (20) is formed, a first inorganic barrier layer (50) covering the first color resist (20). Further disclosed is a color filter. Providing an inorganic barrier layer to separate different color resists can prevent diffusion contamination between different color resists, and can ensure the display effect.
