Abstract:
This method for manufacturing a conductor involves forming a first layer which comprises a first compound represented by the compositional formula (Chem. 1) on at least a surface of a starting material that includes iron, the method including a step S4 of bringing the starting material into contact with a gas (G1) that includes a first element E1 and a second element E2. (Chem. 1) (AE1-xAx)(Fe1-yTMy)2(As1-zPz)2... AE is an alkali earth metal element, A is an alkali metal element, and TM is a transition metal element. x satisfies 0≤x<1, y satisfies 0≤y<0.5, and Z satisfies 0≤z<0.8. The first element E1 includes AE and the second element includes arsenic.
