Abstract:
Coupled turbine blades having an axis are manufactured by: arranging, in the radial direction with respect to the axis, a plurality of first fabric members (27a, 27b) comprising ceramic fibres to configure a plurality of blade parts; arranging, in the peripheral direction with respect to the axis, a second fabric member (31) comprising the ceramic fibres; connecting the plurality of first fabric members with the second fabric member by bending first ends of the first fabric members such that said first ends overlap and are parallel with the second fabric member; and impregnating, with a matrix, the plurality of first fabric members and the second fabric member which have been connected to each other.
