Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cowl cross member and a cowl cross member manufactured thereby and, more specifically, to a method for mounting a bracket of a heterogeneous material on a bent cowl cross member. The method for manufacturing a cowl cross member of the present invention comprises the steps of: opening a mold composed of a cope with a cavity formed therein and a drag; inserting a cowl cross pipe into the opened mold; closing the mold while the cowl cross pipe is inserted thereinto; injecting a resin into the closed mold; and opening the mold when the injected resin has cooled.
