Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a customizable mattress employs the principle of automatic segmented raising and lowering, such that segmented raising and lowering of a mattress can be performed to automatically fit the profile of a user's body, thereby providing comfort and proper support to different body parts. The invention can be used to solve the issue in which sleep quality of a patient or an elderly person is affected by poor sleep posture of certain body parts, or to provide corrective therapy for certain body parts. The invention performs intelligent adjustment of a mattress to automatically fit respective body parts, such that uniform pressure is exerted upon the respective body parts. The mattress is comfortable and can reduce the occurrence of blood stasis in certain body parts due to non-uniform pressure distribution.
