Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a dissimilar material joint structure capable of suppressing the occurrence of cracks in an HAZ in dissimilar material joining of aluminum or an aluminum alloy material and a steel material. A method for manufacturing a dissimilar material joint structure by joining a steel material (13) and an aluminum alloy material (11) having a low-temperature sprayed coating film (12) made of a metal powder that can be joined to the steel material (13) on at least a part of the surface, the method comprising: a step for superimposing the aluminum alloy material (11) and the steel material (13) so that the low-temperature sprayed coating film (12) and the steel material (13) face each other, and a step for irradiating with a laser beam (14) from the steel material (13) side, wherein a region to be irradiated with the laser beam (14) is composed of a first region W1 in which at least the steel material (13) and the low-temperature sprayed coating film (12) are melted, and a second region W2 in which the steel material (13) and the low-temperature sprayed coating film (12) are not melted in a peripheral portion of the first region W1.
