A method for manufacturing an enameled wire having a rectangular cross section, pertaining to the technical field of enameled wires. The method of the present invention comprises: step S01 of drawing copper wires to obtain strip-like wires having a required thickness; step S02 of rolling the drawn wire, such that the strip-like wires are rolled into flat wires; step S03 of shaping the flat wires by using a die, such that the wires are shaped into standardized wires having a rectangular cross section; step S04 of coating an insulation film around the wires having a rectangular cross section; and step S05 of spooling the wires to obtain formed enameled wires. The enameled wires manufactured by using the present invention have highly precise dimensions, a uniform coating thickness, and a high electrical energy transfer rate.
