Abstract:
 An objective of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a fluorine-containing cyclo olefin compound in which a compound having a fluorine atom bonded directly to each carbon forming a carbon-carbon double bond therein, and a linear diene compound having a fluorine atom bonded to the carbon at the allylic site therein serve as source materials. The present invention pertains to a method for manufacturing a fluorine-containing cyclo olefin compound represented by at least one of formulas (64)-(67), by reacting a fluorine-containing diene compound represented by at least one of formulas (44)-(47) in the presence of a metal-carbene complex compound exhibiting olefin metathesis activity.
