Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a folding electric core of an electrode composite unit, comprising the following steps: a. providing a strip-shaped electrode composite unit, the electrode composite unit comprising a plurality of layers of electrode plates, there being a separator layer between two adjacent electrode plates, the polarities of the two adjacent layers of electrode plates being opposite; and b. folding up and down alternatingly the first end of the electrode composite unit with the length of one electrode unit as the unit of folding each time to form a battery cell; in the battery cell, the polarities of two adjacent electrode units being opposite, the top and bottom electrode units of the cell all being negative electrodes, and the top and bottom electrode units both being covered by the separator layer. Therefore, the present application, by means of the described manufacturing method, cutting the separator into several separator pieces can be avoided, thus simplifying the production process; at the same time, since the present application folds up and down alternatingly the first end of the electrode composite unit with the length of one electrode unit as the unit of folding each time to form a battery cell, the efficiency of battery cell production is improved.
