Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a glass molding, wherein a molten glass drop (50) is pressure-molded, the method being provided with: a step for preparing a lower die (10A) including a lower die surface onto which the molten glass drop is dropped, and a space forming surface (16) which is formed so as to go downward away from the outer edge end (15T) of the lower die surface with the outer edge end as a starting point; a step for preparing an outer frame (20) including an annularly formed inner peripheral surface (25); a step for disposing the lower die (10A) inside the outer frame; a step for dropping a predetermined amount of molten glass drop (50) onto the lower die surface such that the surface of the molten glass drop connects the outer edge end (15T) and a portion (P10) located higher than the position of the outer edge end (15T) within the inner peripheral surface (25) to prevent the molten glass drop from wet spreading to the space forming surface (16); and a step for pressure-molding the molten glass drop (50).
