Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the technical field of polyester industrial filament manufacturing, and particularly relates to a method for manufacturing a high-modulus low-shrinkage industrial filament by using recycled polyester, the method comprising the following steps: 1) pre-crystallizing, crystallizing and tackifying a basic chip to obtain a high-viscosity chip, wherein the basic chip comprises a recycled-polyester chip recovered from a polyester bottle; 2) drying the high-viscosity chip, melt-extruding same for spinning, and cooling a tow; 3) subjecting the tow to oiling, drafting, shaping and coiling to obtain a high-modulus low-shrinkage industrial filament. By using recycled-polyester chips recovered from polyester bottles, the energy consumption and carbon emissions are reduced compared to conventional chips produced by only using petrochemical raw materials. The tackifying procedure makes recycled-polyester chip molecules undergo polymerization, such that the intrinsic viscosity is increased, the stretchable performance of the material is improved, the high spinning speed and high drafting ratio during the spinning process becomes possible, the frequency of the filament fraying and the filament breaking is reduced, the manufactured high-modulus low-shrinkage industrial filament can produce a downstream product such as a tire cord fabric, and performance equivalent to a conventional industrial filament is thus acquired.
