Abstract:
The present invention provides an optimized method for collecting high-purity lithium carbonate from a lithium-containing composite oxide deposited on an eroded surface of discarded waste sagger. Therefore, the use of the method for manufacturing high-purity lithium carbonate from waste sagger of the present invention is expected to be able to produce high-purity lithium carbonate, usable in the manufacturing of secondary lithium batteries, by recycling discarded waste sagger as well as recycle a positive electrode active material, iron oxide, alumina, silicate, and calcium carbonate that are incidentally obtained in the manufacturing process.
