Abstract:
A method for manufacturing an intra-uterine contraceptive device of a shape
memory alloy is provided. The temperature at which the shape memory alloy stent
of the intra-uterine contraceptive device recovers completely to its design
shape is not more than 36.9°C, and the elasticity of the stent is in the range
of 0.15~0.75N. The manufacture method comprises a process of volume-producing
the stent of the intra-uterine contraceptive device of a shape memory alloy by
a mould, a process of machining the contraceptive components, and a process of
assembling the contraceptive components onto the shape memory alloy stent.
