Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a melt-processing composition including a poly(3-hydroxybutyrate)-based resin, said method including a step for heating a material that includes a poly(3-hydroxybutyrate)-based resin, in which the difference between the melting point peak temperature and the final temperature of the melting point peak thereof in differential scanning calorimetry is 10°C or greater, so that the temperature of the material is equal to or higher than the melting point peak temperature and no higher than the final temperature of the melting point peak, and extruding the material, and thereby obtaining a melt-processing composition having a new crystal peak on the higher-temperature side of the melting point peak temperature.
