Abstract:
This method for manufacturing a molded article of a fiber-reinforced composite material includes a step for deforming a reinforcing fiber substrate containing reinforcing fibers oriented in one direction and a matrix resin composition by using a mold. The reinforcing fiber substrate has, at a site subjected to shear deformation and/or compression deformation, notches that are substantially parallel to the orientation direction of the reinforcing fibers, and does not have notches that substantially cut the fibers.
