Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a motor case according to the present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a motor case including a main body portion having the top and bottom thereof open, an end cover coupling portion formed on top of the main body portion to have a step therein and the top thereof open, and a bottom open portion that is an open portion at the bottom of the main body portion, and is characterized by comprising: a drawing process for processing a circular metal plate into a cup shape; a center piercing process for forming a hole in the central portion of the floor of the cup shape; a burring process of opening up the area around the hole in order to form the end cover coupling portion; a piercing process of cutting away vertical parts of the portion opened up through the burring process; and a tube expanding drawing process for expanding the inner diameter of the portion opened up through the burring process.
