Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a one-piece wheel having a hollow structure for reducing noise.
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, provided is a method for manufacturing a one-piece wheel having a hollow structure for reducing noise, the method being characterized by comprising the steps of: using at least one of gravity casting or low-pressure casting to produce an integrated cast in which a disc part is integrated with a rim part that includes an annular protrusion portion protruding radially from the outer circumferential surface; bending the annular protrusion portion through flow-forming so as to form a bent part, and forming a hollow part through the bent part and one side of the disc part; and friction stir welding the one side of the disc part and one end of the bent part.
