Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing an optical element, which is capable of reducing the number of manufacturing steps and improving a yield while securing high parallelism between reflection surfaces. The method for manufacturing a light-transmissive optical element 1 in which reflection surfaces 4 parallel to the thickness direction are arranged in parallel to each other at predetermined intervals is provided with: a lamination step for laminating transparent base materials 2 each having the reflection surface 4 formed on at least one surface thereof via a spacer 15 arranged on the reflection surface 4, and forming a laminate 11 having a gap G between the base materials 2; a pressure reduction step for reducing pressure to set the gap G to be in a vacuum state by exhausting gas from an exhaust surface 11c to which the gap G of the laminate 11 is exposed; and a fixing step for fixing the laminate 11 by applying suction onto the exhaust surface 11c to fill the gap G with a liquid adhesive 3 from a suction surface 11b opposed to the exhaust surface 11c and curing the adhesive 3.
