Abstract:
In order to manufacture an intermediate that makes it possible to obtain a cyclic alcohol compound stereoselectively, the method for manufacturing an oxetane compound according to the invention reacts a compound expressed by formula (I) with a cyanide salt to provide a compound expressed by formula (II). [Formula 1] (where R1 represents a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted alkyl group, X1 represents a halogen atom or -OSO2R3, R3 represents an optionally substituted alkyl group, phenyl group, or naphthyl group, and ring Z1 represents an optionally substituted cyclic hydrocarbon.)
