Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an oxidation catalyst module using electrodeposition (deposition) and an oxidation catalyst module manufactured thereby. More specifically, the present invention relates to: an oxidation catalyst module, in which, in the case of electrodeposition on a silicon carbide (SiC) carrier by using an electrolyte including Pd and Ce precursors, a CeO2 two-dimensional nanosheet and Pd nanoclusters are formed on the surface of the SiC carrier so that the oxidation catalyst module can have catalytic activity in an oxidation reaction even in a low-temperature exhaust gas environment; and a method for manufacturing the oxidation catalyst module.
