Abstract:
A method of manufacturing high-quality phosphonocrotonic acid derivative is provided. The present invention is a method for manufacturing a compound represented by general formula (3) by reacting a compound represented by general formula (1) with a compound represented by general formula (2), and is characterized in comprising a treatment step using an acid or base. (In the formula, R1 represents a straight chain or branched C1-6 alkyl group optionally substituted with a C6-10 aryl group, a straight chain or branched C2-6 alkenyl group optionally substituted with a C6-10 aryl group, a straight chain or branched C2-6 alkynyl group optionally substituted with a C6-10 aryl group, or a C6-10 aryl group; R2 represents a hydrogen atom or a straight chain or branched C1-6 alkyl group optionally substituted with a C6-10 aryl group; R3 represents a straight chain or branched C1-6 alkyl group, a C6-10 aryl group, or halogen atom; X represents a halogen atom; and a plurality of R1 may be identical or different.)
