Abstract:
These phosphorus-containing-silver-coated copper particles have a phosphorus (P) element-containing silver coating layer on at least a part of the surface of copper base particles, the value of IO 2/(WAg × WP) × 1000 being 1.9 or less. IO is the oxygen increase amount (mass%) after seven days have elapsed in storage at 85°C and 85% RH. WAg is the silver (Ag) element content (mass%) of the phosphorus-containing-silver-coated copper particles. WP is the phosphorus (P) element content (mass ppm) of the phosphorus-containing-silver-coated copper particles. The phosphorus-containing-silver-coated copper particles are manufactured by a method comprising causing a silver compound and phosphoric acid or a salt thereof to coexist in a dispersion of copper base particles, and forming, by precipitation, a phosphorus-containing silver coating layer on the surface of the copper base particles.
