Abstract:
A method for manufacturing plated rod-shaped metal that has a preparation step for preparing a rod-shaped metal, and a plating step for selectively electroplating a region of the surface of the metal that runs in the longitudinal direction. The plating step has: a step for preparing a fixing member on the surface of which a groove for fixing the metal is formed; a step for inserting the metal so as to follow the groove; and a step for immersing the metal, while inserted in the groove, in a plating liquid.
