Abstract:

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a polarizer, and a polarizer and a polarization plate manufactured by using the same, the method comprising the steps of: preparing a polyvinyl alcohol-based polarizer dyed with iodine dye and/or dichroic dye; allowing a discoloration solution to locally contact a partial area of the polarizer so as to form a depolarized area; and acid treating at least the depolarized area by using an acid treatment solution.
