Abstract:
The present invention provides: a method for manufacturing a propulsion unit having a rim foil, which can protect a propeller from a surrounding obstacle and can also greatly reduce drag force during a forward flight; and a propulsion unit and a flying vehicle manufactured by same. To this end, the present invention provides a method for manufacturing a propulsion unit having a rim foil, and a propulsion unit and a flying vehicle manufactured by the method, the method comprising: a plate member forming step of forming an airfoil-shaped plate member, the outline of which on a side view forms an airfoil shape; a rim foil forming step of forming a through-hole through the air foil-shaped plate member to form a rim foil member, the outline of which on a side view forms at least partial shape of an airfoil; and a propeller installation step of installing a propeller in the through-hole.
