Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a crankshaft through use of a turning & broaching machine (1) is provided with a temporary setting step, a lifting step, a centering step, and a full clamping step. In the temporary setting step, a crankshaft blank (W) is mounted on first and second temporary settings (32d, 42d). In the lifting step, a rear flange (210) is lifted by a first chuck pawl (32b), and a front shaft (220) is lifted by a second chuck pawl (42b). In the centering step, first and second centers (32c, 42c) are inserted into first and second center holes (210CH, 220CH).
