Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a spring member for a sealing device that can narrow a pitch gap for an inner circumferential pressing part.
A spring member (1) is formed by: an inner circle and outer periphery punching step of performing a punching process on plate material (a) formed from metal material so as to form an outer perimeter side outline and inner perimeter side circular space, thereby forming an intermediate plate material (b); an inner periphery bending step of performing a bending process on the intermediate plate material (b) that has been formed for bending a part on the inside from a base circle (15), which is a circle between the inner circle end part (12) and the outer circle (13), to one side; an inner periphery punching step of performing a punching process on an intermediate plate material (c) formed by the inner periphery bending step for punching inner peripheral radial parts (18), which are parts extending radially from the inner circle end part (12), so as to form inner peripheral cutouts (19) extending more to the inside than the outer circle (13) in radial pieces (14); and an outer periphery bending step of performing a bending process on an intermediate plate material (d) that has been formed for bending the part outside of the base circle (15) to one side from the base circle (15).
