Abstract:
An outer terminal (20) is placed between a crimper and an anvil. Next, the crimper and the anvil are closed to an intermediate position and a wire barrel (22) is deformed toward the inside, thereby forming an insertion guide (G) for an inner housing (11) by the wire barrel. Next, the inner housing (11) is inserted along the insertion guide (G) formed by the wire barrel (22) up to an internal predetermined position of an end cylindrical portion (21) of the outer terminal (20). Next, the crimper and the anvil are further closed to swage the wire barrel (22) to an electric wire (W).
