Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a highly pure titanium metal powder or titanium alloy powder which can be used in various fields. The purpose of the present invention can be achieved by a method for manufacturing a titanium metal powder or titanium alloy powder, the method comprising the steps of: partially reducing at least one type of a metal oxide and at least one type of a titanium oxide; mixing the partially reduced metal oxide and titanium oxide to prepare a first mixture; mixing the first mixture and calcium hydride to prepare a second mixture; and d) completely reducing the second mixture to manufacture a titanium metal or titanium alloy.
