Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a wire harness according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is a method for manufacturing a wire harness in which the tip sections of a plurality of bundled insulating wires are covered with a heat-shrinkable cap and conductors at the tip sections are exposed, wherein a heat-shrinkable cap, which is provided with a tubular base material layer that shrinks by heating, a plug for sealing one end section of the base material layer, and an adhesive layer laminated on the inner surface of the base material layer and fluidized by heating, is used as said heat-shrinkable cap. This method comprises: a step for inserting the tip sections of the insulating wires into the heat-shrinkable cap; a step for holding the heat-shrinkable cap, in which the insulated wires are inserted, upright with a plug-side end section thereof facing downward; and a step for heating, with a heater, the heat-shrinkable cap which is held upright.
