Abstract:
The group of inventions relates to wireless radio communication and, more precisely, to devices and methods for determining the position of (locating) a radio centre. A method is proposed for determining the distance between a radio centre (Р2) and two other radio centres (Р1, РЗ), wherein the time taken for a radio signal to be propagated therebetween (П4) is known or can be calculated on the basis of known data, in which method a direct radio signal (ПР) is transmitted by Р1, the direct signal is received by Р2 and РЗ, a response radio signal (ОР) is transmitted by Р2 upon reception of the direct signal, and the response signal is received by Р1 and РЗ, wherein the delay (П2) between reception of the direct signal and transmission of the response signal is determined by Р2, the delay (Ш) between transmission of the direct signal and reception of the response signal is determined by Р1, and the delay (П3) between reception of the direct signal and the response signal is determined by РЗ, after which the delay (П5) of the propagation of the direct signal and/or the response signal between Р1 and Р2 is determined taking into account П2, and the delay (П6) of the propagation of the response signal between Р2 and РЗ is determined taking into account П5, П2, ПЗ and П4, and the distance between Р1 and Р2 and between Р2 and РЗ respectively is calculated. The technical result is an increase in measurement accuracy and a simplification of the calculations.
