Title:
METHOD OF MEASURING GLUCOSE AND REAGENT FOR MEASURING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/107094
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention is directed to a method of measuring glucose using hexokinase and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, characterized by incorporating boric acid, a derivative thereof or a salt thereof. Further, the invention is directed to a reagent for measuring glucose comprising hexokinase and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, characterized by including boric acid, a derivative thereof or a salt thereof. Further, the invention is directed to a method of measuring glucose using hexokinase and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, wherein by performing measurement in the coexistence of boric acid, a derivative thereof or a salt thereof, an error due to fructose is reduced.
