METHOD FOR MEASURING TOTAL MONOCYTES AND PERCENTAGE OF CD16-POSITIVE MONOCYTES

Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a method for measuring the percentage of CD16-positive monocytes and the total monocytes in all nucleated cells in a sample; and a method for measuring the percentage of CD-16 positive monocytes among the total monocytes. The methods of the present invention are: a method for measuring the percentage of CD16-positive monocytes in all nucleated cells in a human sample, the method including analyzing a non-methylated state of one or more CpG positions in a marker region comprising at least one DNA sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOS: 22, 25, 28, 31 and 34, wherein the percentage of CD16-positive monocytes in all nucleated cells in a human sample are calculated by using the percentage of non-methylated states of one or more CpG positions obtained via said analysis; and a method for measuring the percentage of CD16-positive monocytes in the total monocytes by using the aforementioned method.
