Abstract:
A method for data transmission using a bar code, comprising: a mobile device receiving a mobile payment instruction; the mobile device determining whether mobile payment information is present, wherein the mobile payment information is discount information of a mobile payment application; the mobile device determining an application for performing a mobile payment according to the discount information; the mobile device determining, via detection by a light sensor (207), if a specific light emitted by a scanner of a payment terminal is illuminated onto the mobile device; if the light sensor (207) detects that a specific light is illuminated onto the mobile device, the mobile device invoking a bar code of the application used for the mobile payment and displaying the bar code on a screen (202) of the mobile device; and the mobile device receiving a "payment successful" message sent by a network side and displaying a user interface showing payment is successful on the screen (202).
