Abstract:
An objective of embodiments according to the present invention is to calculate reductions of carbon emissions through second-hand trading, and enable people involved in the second-hand trading to trade cabon credits corresponding to the reduced carbon emissions so as to acquire incentives. In this regard, a method for modeling carbon emission reductions through second-hand trading comprises the steps of: obtaining information about a category and age of a specific product; obtaining information about an average usage period of a category to which the product belongs; if second-hand trading of the product is done, then determining a remaining usage period on the basis of a difference between the average usage period and the age of the product; and calculating reductions of carbon emissions for a case where the second-hand trading of the product is done, on the basis of the remaining usage period of the product.
