Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for modifying surface performance of a lightweight alloy. The method comprises the following steps: milling, on the surface of a lightweight alloy plate to be modified, a plurality of recesses engraved with recess patterns at the bottom; selecting a cover plate having the same material as the lightweight alloy plate to be modified and having a thickness of not more than 2 mm, and milling, on the surface of the cover plate, bosses engraved with boss patterns on the surface; adding corresponding modified powder into the recesses according to modification requirements of the lightweight alloy, and after the cover plate is covered, pressing the cover plate and the lightweight alloy plate into a plate by using a rolling machine; putting the plate into an intermediate frequency heating furnace, heating to 380℃-430℃, and then taking out and rolling again on the rolling machine; placing the plate on a friction stir welding workbench to be clamped, and then inserting a stirring needle into the surface layer of the plate for stirring modification molding; and placing the plate on a grinding machine for grinding, removing flashes and burrs, and finally obtaining a modified lightweight alloy surface layer. The present invention can realize lightweight alloy surface modification of various performance requirements, and is simple, reliable, feasible and low in cost.
