Abstract:
According to the present invention, in an inverter deterioration determination step in which the presence or absence of deterioration of an inverter 11 is determined, the output current from the inverter 11 is measured at the time of activating an electric motor 10 and the inverter 11 is determined to have deteriorated if at least one of the following cases occurs: (a) a period abnormality in which the period of the waveform of the obtained current fluctuates; (b) an amplitude abnormality in which the amplitude of the waveform of the obtained current fluctuates; and (c) a harmonic ratio abnormality in which the ratio of harmonics at an obtained power supply frequency f1 fluctuates.
