METHOD FOR NORMALIZING THE PHYSIOLOGICAL STATE OF THE BODY FOLLOWING INTENSE PHYSICAL EXERTION

The invention relates to the field of medicine and physiotherapy for restoring energy following intense exertion, during the treatment and prevention of diseases of various etiologies, and also in a series of rehabilitation measures following intense physical exertion, and relates to normalizing the physiological state of an athlete's body. A method includes local abdominal decompression (LAD) of the lower portion of an athlete's body, which lower portion is positioned in a heat chamber provided with sleeves for the lower extremities. Pulses of negative air pressure are applied at 3.0-4.5 kPa with an exposure time of 2-3 minutes and a rest time of 1-2 minutes, and compensating positive pressure is applied at 2.0-4.5 kPa to the lower extremities simultaneously with the application of the pulses of negative pressure to the lower portion of the body. In order to accelerate the emission of toxic metabolites which are formed in the body during physical exertion, an enterosorbent, such as "Filtrum", is taken prior to the local abdominal decompression. The method allows for producing an anabolic effect (increasing blood plasma albumin and testosterone levels) and for decreasing the effects of stress (decreasing cortisol levels) on the bodies of athletes following intense physical exertion requiring rapid and full recovery.
